I’m dedicating this recap to Cory, because she attended the same high school I went to in the suburbs of Chicago (New Trier High School; we’re both graduates of the Class of 2005).

She first wastes a spin on the Million Dollar Wedge’s left side. Second, Adrian calls out three T’s for $1,950, buys two E’s, but then LOSES A TURN. Third, Cory finds a $2,500 R, buys three A’s, but then strikes out w/ an N while on the gift tag. Kristen next locates two Free Play O’s, two $900 S’s, a $700 M, a $600 P, and an I to clean out the vowels. Next up are a $700 D, two H’s for the 1/2 CAR near the orange $900…

Mystery Round: BEFORE & AFTER

Adrian lands on that Spongebob prize right away, but he can’t pick it up w/ a dud in T. Cory secondly takes a $900 R, but then a dud vowel of O. Kristen thirdly picks up her second 1/2 CAR from the same spot w/ an M, buys an I, lights up an $800 L, and buys four A’s to clean out the vowel shop. Following an F for the other 1/2 CAR, and two $800 Y’s, here’s the board…

…don’t expect to see a movie titled “MY FAIR LADY GAGA”, but she just won $2,900 plus the Nissan Versa Note S for a total of $17,875 in that round alone!

Prize Puzzle/Express Round: PHRASE

The N fails Cory again right from the get-go. Kristen secondly BANKRUPTs near $650. Third in line, Adrian fills in three T’s for $2,700, buys A and E singles, lights up a $500 R, and buys two O’s before he hits LaT. Back to Cory who picks up the Wild Card w/ two S’s and buys the leftover vowels of I and U. Next on her list are a $550 L, H ($800) and G ($800) singles, a dud of F while on FP, and a $3,500 J. She uses the WC…only to have it backfire on her w/ a critical dud of D, so she pretty much loses out on at least $6,150 — ouch. Kristen doesn’t do any better w/ the M (I fell for it, too, thinking the first word’s MOM). Adrian won’t spin again…
