I must end tonight on a somber note w/ a couple deaths to report…
Robin Williams: you know him as the voice of the Genie in Aladdin (1992) and the title character of Mrs. Doubtfire (1993). He comitted suicide at the age of 63 at his home in California. His name was used as a puzzle on the May 2, 2014 episode of “Wheel 6000” week (ROBIN WILLIAMS AS “MRS. DOUBTFIRE”).
Don Pardo: best known as the announcer for “SNL”, he filled in for M.G. Kelly on a couple of weeks in November 1988 during their road trip to Radio City Music Hall in NYC. He died yesterday in his sleep at the age of 96 in Tucson, AZ
Man, RIP to you 2 and Lauren Bacall (BOGART AND BACALL, Proper Names, TU3, 2/10/14). You'll be dearly missed.
And if Michael Taylor makes a disrespectful comment on this one (he actually called Robin's death a so called TECHNICAL REVIVAL on Bobby's website…like, REALLY?!?!?!)…

This dumbass needs to get a life. There is no such thing as a TECHNICAL REVIVAL in the real world. And he tried to comment about a technical revival for Pardo, too, but I took it out.

I think I know why the May 2, 2014 episode was not rerun in the Summer Reruns (and replacing June 4, 2014), at least because to show some condolences or as a mark of respect.
