Daytime WoF Recap: January 14, 1991 — Return to NBC

The daytime show was still taped at CBS Television City even after the move back to the NBC daytime schedule. Here’s some notes according to the timeline:

  • Charlie’s intro is changed to “From Hollywood, the famous Wheel is spinning, spinning, spinning, and the players will be winning, winning, winning! Because there’s lots of cash and some fabulous prizes just waiting to be won on Wheel of Fortune! With our host, Bob Goen, and our hostess, Vanna White!” Bob gives a short greeting after Charlie says his name.
  • The first prize is now added in Round 1, so the three-prize scenario could occur in Round 3.
  • Except for the cash, Bonus Round prizes are increased to the $10,000 range.
