Toughest BR Puzzle this Week: QUIBBLING (very nasty puzzle right there, and the audience was right to boo at the answer)
Easiest BR Puzzle this Week: THAT’S BAFFLING
Player of the Week: Michael Bystrzycki
WEEKLY RATING: 7 (C-)
Pat’s penultimate week as host marks the return of Fan Favorites from last season (@jpgenius does most of the week while I finish it off).
Highlights of this week
🙂 Best 🙂
All hail that two players on Tuesday and Thursday (at least we won’t see a repeat of 6K or 7K though) and yes, we achieved our second Car sweep (although the Thursday denied us an all-men sweep)
We at least got one look at the $8K wedge all in the last episode.
😦 Worst 😦
That audience BOOing and were jeered on the Wednesday’s MDBR which was QUIBBLING (but thankfully he was about this close to 3.0)
Yikes, that Thursday episode. To make matters worse, that episode spoiled our all-men BR sweep, and a hillarous missolve that went internet sensation for all the wrong reasons (wait until Andy finds out on that ridiculous NSFW blooper, he might not take it too kindly)
😛 Wild 😛
BetMGM, inside the marriage capital of the world.
Susan keep holding that device for that on Tuesday LMAO…
Jessica almost skipped a consonant but hey she got it anyways.
As mentioned, we got a second Car Sweep after the Colette SYTW. Too infinite possibilities (but we also might guessed that the Car and $40K distributions have been frequent)
What we learnt:
HAPPY EIGHT THOUSAND! And only ten episodes away to the end!
That Jackpot bring back pre-S30 but played a unified maingame. Pressure expected so there.
The Double Jackpot wedge is not a MDW-lookalike or a 1/2 CAR prototype… the color or that looks a bit misleading.
Why Price is Right Jackpot Eight run the same night and Thursday as us? Maybe compete for viewership or budget angst? (What Gomez and Ismail say, this show hurt their winnings)
Personal comment:
While some maingame were roller-coaster thank goodness for the two episodes though in terms on the BR, it was just under pressure when you have big money at stake.
10 words or less: Gold milestone got us outcold…
Our rating: 7 🙂
And then there were two weeks… only ten episodes remain.

One more note, no direct referencing Sharona/Autumn’s grand prize win on Thursday (we already make clear that direct references are not allowed but indirect ones are allowed, like the Star Wars opening crawl, and 2022 and 2017 for example)

Shouldn’t the car sweep count be 2 (came after seeing news that SYTW got a summer rerun)?

I thought I had updated the car sweep count, but I guess not. It’s been fixed.

Aside from the awful Thursday episode that had that PATHETIC NSFW answer, the Jackpot wins from Tuesday and the milestone episode on Friday were the highlight and nice to see another car sweep from this season.
