Let’s try to get at least 1 BR win this week. Also, this marks the start of the 2nd annual Home Sweet Home Giveaway. Elaine immediately calls T for terrible. Nina calls up 3 $650 N’s, but makes a bad A purchase. Ted then goes for a $1,400 S pair, 2 I’s, but then BANKRUPT near TD to wipe away the $1,150 remainder. Elaine then picks up the MDW w/ an R, but gives that away to the other BANKRUPT as well. Nina then nearly fills up the entire puzzle w/ a $500 G, 3 E’s, a $700 D, an O, & 3 $500 L’s.

Mystery Round: WAYD?

Hoping to add more dough to her total, Nina picks off 3 $500 L’s. After an I purchase comes the BANKRUPT next to $650 to wipe away $1,250. Ted then grabs the Margaritaville trip w/ a G, buys 4 O’s, gets $700 from a T, buys an A, and calls an R on the MW near LaT. Believe it or not, he’s ACTUALLY RISKING $9,297 in cash & trip after much deliberation…and he causes me to shout “OMG, WOW!” because the money’s on the back! That’s some serious guts right there. Up next are 2 M’s for the other Margaritaville collectible, a $500 Y, 3 E’s, a $600 H, 2 $900 L’s, U, & 2 $550 W’s before he makes a BIG solve attempt.
