He starts w/ a $1,200 pair of T’s, only to lose it right back to the MDW’s left side. Second, Steve picks up the GT w/ an N, buys four E’s, but loses his turn w/ an A purchase. Third, Jeanie LaTs out. Back to Ross who says three R’s for the WC, four I’s, a $1,300 pair of C’s, a $600 D, and two O’s to clean out the vowels before he sees…

I N C R E D I _ _ E
O _ E R T I _ E
_ I C T O R _

…we all remember that INCREDIBLE OVERTIME VICTORY by the Patriots and he has solved for another $2,900.

SOLE DUD: A (Steve)
SOLE LaT: Jeanie

Ross: $5,900 WC/Others: $0 each

Mystery/Crossword Round: SNOW ______

Steve’s up first w/ a $500 N, an A, a $700 C, two O’s, and the same number of E’s, but his next call of T is no good. Jeanie secondly picks off two L’s on the MW near LaT and under that is…$$$. But she then says F for flunk on TD. Ross thirdly tries a $500 S, a $600 P and the last vowel of I via FP, but next is R for roadblock on the 1/2 CAR near $600. Steve then inserts an $800 M, two B’s on the same 1/2 CAR, and a $500 G to complete the grid…

—   — —    (C)   –  — (P)
—  —   (M)(O)(B)(I)(L)(E)
—  —   —   (N) —  — (A)
(G)(L)(O)(B)(E)  — – (S)

…and score his first $2,750.

After Steve LaTs out, Jeanie proceeds to put up a $1,300 pair of H’s, two E’s and A’s, but the R fails somebody again. Ross then uncovers a $1K pair of L’s, an O, and two I’s to finish off the vowels…

T H E / I _ E A L
H O L I _ A _

…he’s won another $1,150 and THE IDEAL HOLIDAY — the caravan.com COSTA RICA TOUR.

Boston episode day 1: Disappointing start to be the case. $40K loss in the BR was the low. Ross needed the W and H to have a shot at it

    My rating: 6
Glad to have Andynwof back after a week off. There’s more boston to talk about this Week

Remember that blown Headline solve about a month ago? The Patriots did NOT win their SIXth Super Bowl, just saying.
