Turnabout is fair play here — Brittany’s ready to SPIN AND WIN like her opponents.

She gets the Southern Living $ gift tag right away w/ two R’s, then she picks an E, a FP dud of A, two TD T’s, two I’s, but then a baddie of Y. Second, Paris calls up an $800 H, buys three O’s to clean out the vowel shop, but the BANKRUPT near $2,500 takes away the $550 remainder. Third, Jeff wastes a turn w/ the MDW’s left side. Back to Brittany who inserts a $600 F, an M for the Southern Charm wedge (Goodstone Inn and Restaurant in Middleburg, VA), and three $650 S’s, but she painfully LaTs out. Paris then puts up a $7,500 W trio…

W H I S _ E R / W O R D S
O F / W I S D O M

…she correctly recites “WHISPER WORDS OF WISDOM” (from The Beatles’ “Let It Be”), and her new total is now $8,500.

DUDS (both by Brittany): A & Y
SOLE LaT: Brittany
BANKRUPTS: 2 (Paris and Jeff)

Mystery Round: BEFORE & AFTER

First on Paris’ road are a $650 S, two A’s, a $550 L, three E’s, and the last vowel of O, followed by a FP R, but then a negative of K on the 1/2 CAR near $900. Jeff follows suit w/ a $1,400 T pair, $650 C and H singles, a W for that WC, a $700 B and a $650 P before he tries to solve all of this…

C H A R L O T T E ‘ S
P A _ E

…I doubt you’re gonna find a book called “CHARLOTTE’S WEB PAGE”, but he’s on the board w/ $4,550.

SOLE DUD: K (Paris)

PP/Express Round: EVENT

Jeff unfortunately has to give up his WC to the same MDW BANKRUPT. Second for Brittany are an $1,800 T trio, two E’s, a $1,300 pair of H’s, an A, two I’s, a $1,950 G trio, but then the other normal BANKRUPT to lose $4,300. Third in Paris’ favor are three N’s for the 1/2 CAR near $900, three O’s, a $600 L, and that last vowel of U, after which she spins up a $600 M, a $1,600 R pair, a $900 S, but that left BANKRUPT of the MDW nails her to the tune of $4,700 and her plate. Afterwards…

…w/ the remaining consonants worth $1,600 apiece. Two E’s are bought late…
