Kathy kicks off with a $1,950 trio of T’s, five E’s, and five A’s to quickly clean out the vowels. She follows up with a $3,500 H, four $600 R’s, a $7K pair of G’s, a P for the 1/2 CAR near $600, but then the BANKRUPT near TD to have $14,850 and her plate torn up to pieces. Becky next picks up the WC w/ three N’s, only to lose it right back to the MDW’s left side. Jake then uncovers a $1,200 pair of D’s…

PP/Express Round: EVENT

A $1,200 T pair gets Becky started, but the other normal BANKRUPT strikes. Going Jake‘s way second are a $650 R, three E’s and A’s, but the same BANKRUPT gets him too. Kathy next GOES ABOARD on the EXPRESS after calling an N…but the R repeat shoots her down. Becky tries again w/ four S’s for $2,600, three I’s, a $600 G, two $500 L’s, but the one dud vowel of O stops her. Jake then gets the other 1/2 CAR w/ two C’s, a $650 P, a U and a $500 M before turning down his Fiesta opportunity…

He BANKRUPTs near TD right out of the gate. Kathy secondly gets the other normal one. Becky thirdly FPs a single E, but she gets the same BANKRUPT Jake got. That man then fills in a $1K pair of T’s, but the sole dud vowel of A stops him. Kathy then wastes a FP usage by repeating the A, and loses her turn w/ an S, and we go into S-U mode…

    This sure was a very disappointing show. 8 Bankrupts was the problem costing $18K ouch, Becky became the first Gooseegg victim of the season, and a BR loss sending the season to 3 wins and 4 losses. (An F would have done it)
