Everything is riding on the set of Sandals Resorts.

B _ _ T _ _
_ _ _ A _ / _ I E

Debbie blows the solve w/ BANANA CREAM PIE when there’s a T up there..

B _ _ T _ _
_ _ _ A M / _ I E

Robin solves BOSTON CREAM PIE. There’s nothing but women on this Friday…

Robin Merithew: self-employed insurance auditor from Newbury Park, CA (orig. from Rhode Island)
Debbie Chitty: public health nurse from Whittier, CA
Joanna Fini: mgr. of family’s restaurants at two different locations from Lawrenceville, GA

$2K Tossup: SONG TITLE

_ A L K
T _ _ S / W _ Y

Robin knows how to “WALK THIS WAY” just like Aerosmith and Run-DMC.

TRIP WEDGE: Beaches Jamaica or Turks & Caicos:
Tonight’s Gift Tag: eBags

Round 1: THING

She opens the proceedings w/ an $1,800 T trio, three E’s, but then the sole dud vowel of A for awful. Second, Debbie spins her way to an $1,800 pair of N’s, two O’s, two $700 C’s, but then the LaT. Third, Joanna picks up the WC w/ three G’s…

C _ T T _ N G – E _ G E
T E C _ N O _ O G _

…we’ll be seeing more CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY in the future, and this lady has solved for 1/2 of Robin’s current total.

SOLE DUD: A (Robin)
SOLE LaT: Debbie

Joanna: $1,500 WC/Robin: $3K/Debbie: $0

Mystery Round: BEFORE & AFTER

Debbie’s first choices are an N for the 1/2 CAR near $600, a $900 T, two E’s, two $700 H’s and two O’s before she calls an S while on the MW near LaT and takes the money for it (that’s the BANKRUPT one). But she then duds out w/ R. Over to Joanna who requests a $600 M, two A’s, a $600 F, the last vowel of U and a P while on the same MWbut she unfortunately flips it over and loses $700 plus the WC. Robin then picks up the eBags gift tag w/ the last letter of C…

P A C –
O F / T H E / H O U S E

…the “PAC-MAN OF THE HOUSE” credits her w/ $1,500 cash & bags.

SOLE DUD: R (Debbie)

Joanna: $1,500/Robin: $4,500 cash & bags/Debbie: NOTHING

PP/Express Round: SHOW BIZ

Joanna leads the way w/ a $1,200 pair of T’s, two S’s to go to three grand, two E’s and an A, after which she says three H’s for the same 1/2 CAR, but then C for crud. Robin’s second in line w/ a $1,300 pair of R’s, the two non-U vowels, a $500 N, but then the BANKRUPT near $650 to forfeit $1,300. Afterwards…

S O O T H I N _
R E _ _ A E
R H _ T H _ S

Debbie will hear some SOOTHING REGGAE RHYTHMS at the Sandals Negril in JAMAICA worth $6K.

SOLE DUD: C (Joanna)

Joanna: $1,500/Robin: $4,500 cash & bags/Debbie: $6K trip

$3K Tossup: PLACE

S C U L P _ U R E
G A _ D E _

Joanna ties Robin for second w/ SCULPTURE GARDEN.

Round 4: PHRASE

N for no is how she starts. Second for Robin are a $900 T, a $500 S and two I’s, but the A fails her again. Debbie follows w/ a $1,300 pair of R’s, but it’s S-U time…

_ / I S / _ _ R
_ I _ T _ R _

…and the consonant payoff is $1,500. One F, a dud of P and two V’s later…

V / I S / F _ R
V I _ T _ R _

V IS FOR VICTORY, and Robin has solved for $3,900 and the win.

DUDS (only the first two said before bells): N (Joanna), A (Robin), P (Joanna)

Joanna: $4,500/Robin: $8,400 cash & bags/Debbie: $6K trip

GT: a pathetic $18,900
BANKRUPT TRASH (WC not factored): $2K

$100K Bonus Round
The Mustang Convertible is available tonight and on the week of my birthday. I really hope Robin can come through after spinning the second A of AMERICA’S.

Category: THING
The end letter(s) of each word are…

_ _ _ _ R
_ _ _ N T

Things aren’t looking good after she calls PCGI…

_ _ _ _ R
P _ I N T

no wonder why we were so worried — the MAJOR POINT is that she FAILS to complete the sweep and she loses the convertible. It also she means she’s the lowest-winning champ this season.

[sigh] Rats. Well, at least we got to see 3 women tonight.

    My rating: 4

Last night, I had a dream this sad outcome would actually happen.

A Dull show. Worst… episode… ever this season. $8,400 is the lowest winning total this season, lowest since 2014 with $8,712.

My Actual Rating: 3 Same as Andy But we still got a Great week.
