WoF Recap: March 5, 2015

Well, this week is really far from magical. I think we’re on pace to having our first BR SHUTOUT all season long, but you never know.

EPISODE #6169 DISNEY SAND & SHORE

Minnie did the intro again.

Round 1: CHARACTER

Here she goes w/ an obvious $600 S, an $800 T, three E’s, and three $900 R’s. After she buys two A’s and I’s…

Mystery Round: FOOD & DRINK

Shannon’s first letters this night are a $900 S, three E’s, and two A’s, then he calls up four R’s while on the MW near LaT and turns down the $4K buyout to risk his four Benjamins…nothing there. Andrea secondly spots a $650 C, two $800 P’s, a FP O, and a TD B, but the sole dud vowel of I stops her. Michelle then inserts two $900 M’s, the last vowel of U, a $650 N, and two $1K F’s. We now have…

_ E M O N –
R A S P B E R R _
C R E A M / P U F F

…a nice desert item of a LEMON-RASPBERRY CREAM PUFF, and she makes the $4,200 solve.

SOLE DUD: I (Andrea)
SOLE BANKRUPT: Shannon

Michelle: $10,550/Others: $0 each

——————

PP/Express Round: EVENT

Andrea kicks off w/ a $700 S, three A’s, a $700 T, an E buy, but a sole dud vowel bites her for the second round in a row (in this case, it’s the O). Michelle secondly CLIMBS ABOARD the EXPRESS after putting up an N.

Next Choices: 2 I’s and U…2 G’s…3 H’s…S repeat (she loses $5,500)

Shannon then SPINGLES for a TD W…

S I G H T I N G / A
H U _ _ _ A _ _
W H A _ E

…he’ll be SIGHTING A HUMPBACK WHALE on the $10,797 Disney Wonder ALASKAN CRUISE.

SOLE DUD: O (Andrea)
SOLE BANKRUPT BECAUSE OF REPEAT: Michelle

Andrea: HARD LUCK/Michelle: $10,550/Shannon: $14,297 cash & AK

I think I know the second word already…

CHBA only adds the vowel on top…

A _ _ _

…she has no chance of solving AVID GOLFER and is the sixth straight $32K loser, airing-wise.

MY EP. RATING: 6

OH. DEAR. A possible shutout. Finally! (Obviously not good but it's honestly been a long time coming.) At least the winners this week have won $20K+ each.

An Express BANKRUPT because of a repeat? Rare. That occurred on 10/7/13, too.
