It’s the home of the CNN World HQ, and Ashley solves ATLANTA, GEORGIA. These are your players…

Ashley Hollier: Internet marking firm worker and aspiring comedienne from N’awlins (orig. from Lafayette, LA)
Carlton Martin: accounts manager for a global financial company from Sahuarita, AZ
Rachel Stone: arts/sciences class scheduler at the University of S.F. who’s also pursuing her Master’s in Public Health up S.F. Way

Carlton smashes this ALARM CLOCK to start the first round.

FEATURED TRIP: Hilton Quebec worth $5,700

Jackpot Round: SONG LYRICS

Carlton’s letter calls begin w/ five T’s for $1,500, two E’s and I’s, three L’s to add $2,400 and a couple A’s. Following his FP of the O and a U buy to clean out the vowels, he says two S’s for another $600…

S T A _ / _ U S T / A
L I T T L E / _ I T
L O _ _ E _

…and solves “STAY JUST A LITTLE BIT LONGER” from the song “Stay” by Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs for $3,500.

Rachel: $0/Ashley: $1K/Carlton: $5,500

Mystery Round: SAME LETTER

Rachel’s first letter of R is a dud. Second, Ashley gets the WC w/ an L but then duds out w/ S while on the MW near LaT. Third, Carlton FPs an I but then says N for no. Rachel next FPs an E quarter, picks up a TD T, but then loses a turn w/ an A buy. Ashley then calls up two B’s while on the other MW and risks her WC…she got the right one! Next up are a Y for the blue 1/2 KIA, two U’s to finish off the vowels, and a solve attempt…

_ U T E
_ _ U B B Y –
_ _ E E _ E _
_ _ I L _

…she might not have called the SL, but she gets a CUTE, CHUBBY-CHEEKED CHILD for $10,250.

DUDS: R (Rachel), S (Ashley), N (Carlton), A (Rachel)

Rachel: NADA/Ashley: $11,250 WC 1/2 KIA/Carlton: $5,500

Current leader Ashley begins w/ three $500 S’s and R’s (the latter giving her the 1/2 KIA from the same spot), an A and two E’s, then come a $1,200 F pairing, two O’s, and two Y’s for $1,600 more…

_ ‘ _ / R E A _ Y
F O R / _ Y
S _ R F _ _ _
_ E S S O _

…she rightly says “I’M READY FOR MY SURFING LESSON” for another $5,050 in moolah, the KIA Soul and a surfing adventure at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in HAWAII worth $6,715, totaling $26,765 in that round alone!

Rachel: ZILCH/Ashley: $38,015 cash & prizes WC/Carlton: $5,500

$3K Tossup: PLACE

A _ L – _ _ G H T
D _ _ _ _

Rachel gets off the schneid w/ an ALL-NIGHT DINER.

Round 4: THING

First from her mouth are a $550 R, three E’s, a $1,200 pair of T’s, two I’s, but then S for sorry. Ashley next calls up a half-dozen N’s for $3K, a $400 L, two A’s, and three O’s…

_ _ E N O _ E N O N

…she’s looking like an INTERNATIONAL PHENOMENON herself at least on this stage, because she’s pocketed another $2,900.

SOLE DUD: S (Rachel)

Rachel: $3K/Ashley: $40,915 cash & prizes WC/Carlton: $5,500

Round 5: WAYD? (full $1,500 speed-up)

Following two L’s by the man

L _ _ G H _ N G
_ _ T / L _ _ _

…he’s LAUGHING OUT LOUD for $6K extra.

Rachel: $3K/Ashley: $40,915 cash & prizes WC/Carlton: $11,500

GT: $55,415

$100K Bonus Round
Ashley’s parents are Maxine and Aaron. Her spin stops on the N of WIN.

Category: THING
A couple letters to hopefully get her in the right direction…

_ _ N _ – _ _
T _ _

BCMA and G (she mistakenly said M for her WC pick) are all DUDS, so the game’s over…or is it — she cranks up a WIND-UP TOY w/ three sec. to spare! I hope she’s paid handsomely for that miraculous solve even though her mom got up on stage too early…

it’s not meant to be, but she still leaves us as the highest winner of ’12 w/ a total of $70,915 cash & prizes!

VIDEO BONUS: Ashley’s big night

It's a shame Ashley didn't win more than $30K, because that was AMAZING! Everyone did good this night, IMO. 😀
