WOF Retro Recap: February 27, 2012

Sorry I was away for a few days because of a little mini-trip to Corpus Christi but I’m back and ready to continue on.

Anyway, this is “Hawaii Week” and like the “Pure Paradise” set, the car available is the Mazda MX-5 Miata.

She wastes a spin w/ the MDW’s left side. Second, Talesa says an instant negative of N. Third, Andy calls up a $600 T and a $900 S, three E’s and an A, and says a Jackpot C…

First for the guy is the BANKRUPT near the WC. Second for Rebekah are two T’s for $1,200, a G for the Hilo Hattie gift tag, an I, two O’s and an A, followed by a FP E but then D for dummy. Third, Talesa reclaims the 1/2 KIA she couldn’t keep in the last round w/ a C, but she loses another turn w/ B. Once Andy regains control, he puts up a $900 pair of R’s, the last vowel of U, and an $800 T before hitting LaT. Rebekah follows w/ two L’s for $700, the $300 Y, but then S for stop. Talesa next gets the same normal BANKRUPT, so the KIA Soul’s out of play and her $500 is gone for good. Andy then takes a stab at this…

_ U _ _ I N G / O N
A / T R O L L E Y
C A R

…but HUMMING ON A TROLLEY CAR is wrong, even though it fits. That means Rebekah will be JUMPING ON A TROLLEY CAR w/ another $2,450 in cash and GT during her stay at the Palace Hotel in S.F. worth $5,200.

Mr. Elliott sure knew how to play this game (though I kinda wish it was Mr. Nguyen)! Props to Rebekah for gaining ground.

As for Talesa…poor, poor Talesa. She can say her ABCs backwards and THAT'S how the Wheel thanks her? Dang…
